Hi, Matt with Etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima SkinnyWarrior roof cargo basket on top of our 2022 Nissan Rogue. So this is gonna be a great option for ya, if you're looking for something to get a little bit more storage out of the Rogue, since you don't have a lotta room back there anyways, it's gonna be a great way to solve that. It's been great for any longer items, like if you have any golf clubs, or anything longer like that. And it's not gonna take up a whole lot of room on your roof, so you'll be able to use it with other accessories too. So let's take a closer look at it. Now, this is gonna be a great option for you if you're maybe on a trip and you need to put any of your extra luggage back here or up here and you don't have any space in the back of your vehicle, or if you have any items that are kind of dirty, messy that you don't want inside your vehicle, putting up here is gonna be a great option for you. What's nice about this particular carrier is its size, so it's going to be 58 inches long and it's only gonna be 23 inches wide. Hey, everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now, while our Rogue does offer ample storage space, if you have some items that are a little bit dirtier and you don't wanna keep inside your vehicle, or load it up with people and you need a little extra space somewhere else, this is going to be a great product for you. Now, our cargo basket is rated for 165 pounds and weighs 23 pounds. Those are two numbers that are important to know, because your crossbars and your roof, which is where all the weight is sitting, are going to be weight rated for different numbers. So not only knowing how much this weighs, but how much you can carry, you need to know all your components to make sure you are compensating for the lowest number, so that way, you're not overloading everything. more

Now whether you're looking for some additional storage space, or maybe just to fit some of those longer items that kind of fit awkwardly within your car on top of your roof, either way, this is going to be a great solution for you. Our basket is going to be weight rated for 165 pounds, which is good enough, but we also wanna make sure that we check our crossbar weight rating, as well as our roofs, because these are other components where that weight is going to be sitting. So if either of them have a lower weight rating than our basket, we just need to make sure that we're not overloading either of the components. more

Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the CURT roof basket here today on our 2018 Nissan Rogue. So if you guys are trying to find a way of giving yourself a little bit more cargo space, just not enough, especially if you start loading up that back seat, start losing a lot of your cargo room. This is going to be a great way to start reclaiming some of that, getting some of your bigger, heavier bulkier items out of the vehicle and on top of your roof. And one thing that's really nice about it, this can start saving you a ton of money especially when you start comparing it to some of the hitch-mounted options out there. A, you're going to have to get a hitch and B, those cargo carriers can start getting a little expensive. more

Now right away this can be an excellent way of getting a lot of that precious cargo out of our vehicle and up on our roof. Now why that's great Of course, when you start getting a lot more people in our vehicle maybe we've got some kiddos, maybe it's a couple of friends going on a long road trip. So many great ways of just getting us a lot more space that way we're going to have all our snacks in the back all of our luggage on top with no problem. So the Yakima off-grid offers a lot of awesome features at the top here, you do see that we have a pried AdaptiBar at the top here or an accessory bar doesn't really have to be just for bikes. more

Kuat Roof Basket Review - 2018 Nissan Rogue- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be test fitting the Kuat Vagabond X Roof Cargo Basket and Bike Rack, part number VX201. This measures 52 inches long by 41 inches wide, so that's a pretty decent surface area to store your camping gear, your sporting goods equipment, or your luggage, to free up some space inside your Rogue; and it also has two fork mounts up at the front here, so you can carry up to two bikes on your cargo basket while you travel as well.It does offer an extension piece that will go into the center here, and you can find that on etrailer.com as well. This has a carrying capacity of 160 pounds, which you always want to double check with the vehicles manual to make sure your roof can take those weights. It also has a nice aerodynamic shape to it, and that, coupled with the fairing up at the front here, that's going to help cut down wind noise and drag while you drive, and this is really nice compared to some of the other cargo baskets that have just the flat front here.So let's go ahead and show you how the last connection point goes into place. Set everything in place here. We'll start by placing our metal bracket on top of our plastic mount, and this is what sits in between the basket and the roof rack system. more

Thule Roof Basket Review - 2016 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be taken a look at the Thule Canyon XT Rook Cargo Basket, part number TH859XT. Now, we already have our cargo basket placed on our roof and we'll go ahead and show you how to mount up. There's going to be four mounting points. We have three of them already secured, and we'll go ahead and do the fourth one together. As you see, you're going to have a bracket right here which they are adjustable so it's going to work with different size crossbars. You're going to take your U-bolt. more

Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2016 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Rogue we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number RMCB. Now we already have our cargo basket in place, and we have three of the attachment points already secured. We'll go ahead and show you how the last one goes on. I do want to mention when you put this on you're going to want to have this lower plate underneath the basket before you get any of your attachments put on. We're going to take this plate right here, and that's going to go right over top. There's two tabs that it's going to sit into, you line up the holes and it'll snap in place. Then we can take our bottom piece with the rubber facing up, come underneath the bar, and put our bolts in place. It does come with an included Allen key to tighten everything up. more

Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue we will be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon rooftop-mounted cargo basket. This Thule Canyon is going to be 49" long, 40" wide, have a 6" depth, and 150 pound weight capacity. It does have a nice sturdy finish, steel and sturdy construction, and also it offers the ability to add an extension. This part number is going to be TH859. As you can see, we already have three of the feet installed, and the last one we're going to show you how to put on. Another thing with this cargo basket is you're going to have to adjust the feet before you get it up on, by using the adjusting Allen screws right here, which will allow you to put it in the space that it needs to be to meet up with your crossbar spread. Just measure out your crossbar spread from center to center before you put it up on the vehicle, and adjust those accordingly. more
